Dev Log #1 (Feb. 8th)

Hi everyone,

We're excited to share that we have lots to share in this months dev log, we've been working hard to put together a pre-demo for our exhibit at Otronicon and be able to share it online with anyone who can't come in person.

Otronicon Exhibit

Otronicon is an awesome in-person and virtual event hosted in Orlando, FL. Over the past fifteen years, Otronicon has been proud to engage thousands of K-12 students, college students, educators, and families with hands-on STEM learning as they highlighted the technological innovation happening right here in Central Florida. Their mission is to inspire a better tomorrow through science and technology. The event is being held February 12 - 15, our exhibition will be open Feb. 13 - 14. During the exhibition, we'll also be making the pre-demo available online on our itch. io page here.

Crowdfunding Campaign

We will be launching a crowdfunding campaign on the IFundWomen platform on February 12th, we'd love to have your support! In order to be able to complete the prologue of the game we need your help <3

The game industry is known for having a wide gap in diversity, as a studio Captilight is dedicated to providing a diversified workplace, where everyone is welcome and included. We decided to launch our fundraising campaign on IFundWomen because they support women entrepreneurs in so many ways. Other than providing an awesome supportive community and coaches they use 20% of IFundWomen’s online fundraising fees to pay forward to other female entrepreneurs, and we love the virtuous cycle of funding their model creates!
